AVEVA PI Specialist

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require demonstrable experience administering and supporting AVEVA PI (OSIsoft PI) technologies, including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF) and PI Vision in a production environment.
• We require experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting PI Interfaces, Connectors, SDKs, APIs and related integration technologies.
• We require a strong understanding of application support, platform administration, performance monitoring, system resilience and technical troubleshooting.
• We value knowledge of industrial control systems, operational technology, telemetry, SCADA environments or real-time operational data platforms.
• We require the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and act as a trusted specialist for a business-critical application.
• Candidates must obtain UK Government Security Check (SC) vetting. The stated criteria normally include five years of UK residency.

Responsibilities:

• We rely on you to act as the technical specialist and subject matter expert for our AVEVA PI platform, including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision and associated components.
• You will administer, maintain and support the platform, ensuring its availability, performance, security and resilience.
• You will configure and troubleshoot interfaces, connectors and integrations that collect data from operational and enterprise systems.
• You will lead platform upgrades, patching, disaster recovery testing, performance tuning and lifecycle management.
• You will provide technical guidance and support to users, project teams and suppliers, while driving continuous improvement and adoption of platform best practices.

This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible working options, based in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth, with an expectation to spend 50% of the working week at one of these locations.
