Salary: £84,000 - 112,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require experience working in a SOC or cyber operations environment.
  • We require knowledge of current and emerging cyber adversaries and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • We require knowledge of cyber threat intelligence platforms, feed integrations, and security or process orchestration and automation.
  • We require knowledge of threat modeling and adversary tactics and techniques frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, and ACH.
  • We require knowledge of the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), CVE analysis, adversary exploitation techniques, and attack surface management.
  • We require proficiency in cybersecurity tools and techniques, and knowledge of common cyber threats and attack vectors.
  • We require an understanding of current cybersecurity trends, threats, and concepts.
  • We require the ability to write concise briefings, presentations, and reports for varied audiences, covering analysis, threat trends, threat actor profiles, indicator bulletins, vulnerability details, and defensive strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • We ask you to collect, analyze, and correlate cyber threat intelligence from open-source (OSINT), commercial, and government sources.
  • We ask you to monitor the threat landscape and synthesize and share critical insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • We ask you to conduct tactical and operational threat analysis in support of ongoing campaigns, identifying new TTPs and vulnerabilities that may inform analysis and detection.
  • We ask you to assist our leadership in tracking threat actors, vulnerability exploitation, and emerging or novel TTPs relevant to our technology footprint.
  • We ask you to produce actionable reports, briefings, and indicators of compromise (IOCs) for internal stakeholders.
  • We ask you to apply critical thinking and problem-solving to identify solutions, extract relevant artifacts, and find correlations in threat data.
  • We ask you to escalate critical or important findings to managers promptly, with appropriate risk analysis.
  • We ask you to exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria, and to assess the intelligence output of more junior analysts before dissemination.
  • We ask you to work with our hunt and analysis teams to contextualize threats and help identify, mitigate, and contain cybersecurity incidents.
  • We ask you to draft clear analytical assessments, brief the team on key issues, and provide editorial guidance to more junior analysts.
