Senior Cloud & AI Sales Specialist – Water Industry

Salary: £70,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven enterprise technology sales experience with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue and quota targets.
• Experience owning a sales quota and being accountable for sales performance and business outcomes in large enterprise accounts.
• Demonstrated success creating pipeline, executing sales strategies, and closing complex opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to lead through influence, engage executive stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data and analytics platforms, AI, and application modernization.
• Experience engaging senior business and technical decision makers on Azure, Data & AI, Microsoft Fabric, and emerging technology opportunities.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to identify, shape, and accelerate strategic growth opportunities.
• A strategic, customer-focused, resilient approach, with a growth mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for measurable business impact.

Responsibilities:

• Own and exceed Cloud & AI Platforms revenue, Azure Consumption Revenue, consumption, and platform adoption targets across strategic water industry customers.
• Develop and execute account growth strategies for long-term cloud, data, and AI transformation.
• Lead executive-level conversations with technology and business leaders and transformation stakeholders.
• Build, qualify, progress, and close complex enterprise sales opportunities from creation through execution.
• Create and accelerate new-business pipeline while expanding existing Microsoft platform investments.
• Lead competitive sales pursuits, positioning our Cloud & AI solutions against AWS, Google Cloud, and other alternatives.
• Drive end-to-end adoption across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure Data Services, GitHub, and related cloud and AI technologies.
• Coordinate Solution Engineers, Technical Specialists, Architects, Customer Success, partners, and account teams to deliver customer outcomes and win strategic opportunities.
• Identify customer business priorities and align our solutions to measurable business value and transformation outcomes.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships that position us as the strategic Cloud & AI partner of choice.

We are seeking a resilient, sales-minded Senior Cloud & AI Solution Sales Specialist to drive Cloud, Data, and AI transformation for some of the UKs largest water industry customers. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role focused on revenue growth, Azure consumption, pipeline creation, and strategic platform adoption across a portfolio of key accounts. You will work with our technical specialists, solution engineers, architects, customer success teams, and partners. The full-time role is based in Reading, Berkshire, with two days per week in the office and 25–50% travel. The typical UK base pay range is £74,400–£105,900 per year; some roles may also be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
