Embedded Software Engineer (DSP)

Salary: £36,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience programming embedded systems using C/C++
• Experience with bare-metal and embedded Linux environments
• Knowledge of Linux device drivers, including DMA, interrupts, and device trees
• Knowledge of digital signal processing
• Knowledge of software-defined radio

Responsibilities:

• Prototype innovative wireless solutions
• Develop primarily in C/C++ on embedded platforms
• Develop embedded software and firmware prototypes in an agile environment
• Further develop proven prototypes to deployment standard
• Develop software in real-time embedded environments using Linux, such as MicroBlaze or RISC-V with C/C++
• Work with and configure embedded Linux systems using tools such as Buildroot and Yocto
• Work with U-Boot, kernel configuration, and device trees
• Build and deploy embedded Linux systems in an offline environment
