PLM Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements:- Significant experience working with enterprise PLM platforms and engineering data management solutions
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes, configuration management, engineering change control, and product data governance
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting PLM solutions in a manufacturing, engineering, or product development environment
- Strong understanding of systems integration principles and enterprise architecture
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple functions
- Knowledge of the ARAS Innovator PLM system
- Development skills using Visual Basic or C#
- SQL
- We act as the technical authority and subject matter expert for our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment
- We define the strategic direction, architecture, governance, and continuous improvement of our PLM capabilities
- We support PLM configuration management processes
- We support PLM rollout testing
- We train end users on our PLM system
- We configure the PLM system to suit our business needs
- We create packages for deployment
- We provide SME administration for the system
- We develop business reports from within the system
- We provide advice and support to help shape the future PLM roadmap
- We monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform future PLM strategy
