Senior Security Engineer (IT/OT)
Job Description
Salary: £49,000 - 89,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong enterprise IT security engineering experience
- Strong experience working with operational, distributed or OT environments
- Strong knowledge of network security, particularly segmentation, firewalls and VPNs
- Experience across identity and endpoint security
- Confidence making technical decisions and influencing stakeholders
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex security problems
- Lead security engineering across corporate IT and operational environments
- Design and implement secure architectures and hardened configurations
- Drive network segmentation, firewalls, VPNs and secure remote access
- Strengthen identity and endpoint security across a distributed estate
- Act as a senior technical escalation point for incidents and complex security challenges
- Assess cyber risk and translate it into practical recommendations
- Work closely with infrastructure, engineering, operations and facilities teams
- Mentor colleagues and help establish security engineering best practice

We are a well known business with a growing international presence, and we are looking for a Senior IT/OT Cyber Security Engineer to protect the systems that keep our stores, distribution centres and operational sites running around the clock. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role based in the London area on a hybrid basis, offering a salary of 80-90k plus a very competitive package. You will sit at the point where corporate infrastructure meets the industrial systems we depend on, helping us build and shape our IT/OT security capability as we scale.
