High-Integrity Software Engineer

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced software engineer with an active Developed Vetting security clearance.
• We need strong technical expertise across several of the areas listed, along with the ability to lead technical projects.
• We value professional experience in the design and implementation of complex projects, ideally including both clean-slate work and updates to legacy code bases.
• We want someone comfortable with platform APIs, development environments, and native debugging approaches.
• We are looking for experience leading a team of developers through a complete project lifecycle, including requirements capture, design review, implementation, and assurance.
• We value commitment to code correctness and quality assurance through static analysis, code review, automated testing, and continuous integration.

Responsibilities:

• We design new clean-slate products with complete autonomy over architecture.
• We add new capabilities to, or replace core components of, existing products.
• We build quick prototypes to confirm the feasibility of proposed technical approaches and iterate until they meet requirements.
• We take a hands-on role in day-to-day project delivery, typically working with one or two other colleagues at a time.
• We support junior colleagues by encouraging idiomatic code, demonstrating engineering rigour, and sharing knowledge.
• We help drive our engineering processes to maintain code quality while balancing realistic delivery timescales and client requirements.
