Senior Infrastructure Engineer Citrix SME

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
• Experience in enterprise Citrix administration, deployment and support
• Experience in infrastructure design, upgrades and migrations
• Strong experience in performance optimisation and complex troubleshooting
• Experience integrating with Active Directory
• Experience with secure access technologies
• Experience with high-availability infrastructure
• Experience with infrastructure automation
• Experience working within ITIL or service-managed environments
• Experience in secure or Government environments is highly advantageous
• Eligible to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance
• Must be a sole British national and not hold dual nationality
• Must have lived in the UK for at least 2 of the last 5 years
• Willingness to undergo UK Government security vetting if not already DV cleared
• Citrix certifications are desirable: CCA-V, CCP-V, or CCE-V

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments
• Design, build, upgrade and optimise Citrix infrastructure
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting within high-availability environments
• Support BAU operations alongside infrastructure project delivery
• Integrate Citrix with Active Directory and secure access solutions
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across the environment
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
• Work closely with infrastructure and platform engineering teams to enhance service resilience

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Citrix SME) to join a highly secure Government programme supporting critical enterprise infrastructure. This is a 6-month on-site contract based at Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes, inside IR35, offering the opportunity to work within a skilled engineering team supporting complex virtual desktop environments and delivering both BAU support and infrastructure improvement projects.
