Permanent IT Field Service Engineer/ IT Technician

Salary: £26,000 - 26,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a full valid UK driving licence and access to a personal car with business insurance.
• We require the right to work in the UK.
• We require candidates to be willing to undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
• We require the ability to resolve hardware issues and basic software problems.
• We require the capability to build PCs with the required operating system and software, and to deploy desktop and laptop devices.
• MCSE certification is preferred but not essential.
• Manufacturer enterprise server certification is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• We attend incidents and requests as directed by the Customer Incident Centre in a courteous, customer-focused manner.
• We monitor, update, and progress assigned incidents in a timely manner.
• We use our technical expertise and experience to provide training support, coaching, and guidance to junior Field Service Engineers.
• We coordinate between clients and vendors to ensure timely problem resolution.
• We provide a high level of customer satisfaction in all work undertaken.
• We provide on-site support for client IT hardware devices.
• We maintain and support field-based clients across a defined geographic area.
• We work standard Monday to Friday hours, with out-of-hours standby on a rotating basis.
