IT Network Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need a valid UK full driving licence.
• We need eligibility to work in the UK.
• We are looking for someone with a foundation in IP addressing and subnetting.
• We are looking for someone with experience in VLAN configuration and network segmentation.
• We are looking for someone with experience in router setup and traffic management.
• We are looking for someone with experience in DNS and domain resolution.
• We would prefer experience or awareness of Microsoft 365 applications, including Office 365 and Intune.
• We would prefer experience or awareness of general server infrastructure, ideally in a Windows Server environment.
• We need a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• We need someone who can work onsite full-time as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you provide onsite end-user IT support.
• We will have you participate in infrastructure projects, including full fibre broadband installation.
• We will have you support the maintenance and configuration of core network equipment.
• We will have you diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues.
• We will have you travel to other marina locations when required.

We are a leading UK marina operator with a network of beautiful coastal locations. We are expanding our in-house IT team and offering an exciting, full-time permanent opportunity for an IT Network Engineer based in Largs or Troon, Scotland, with occasional travel to other UK sites. This is a hands-on role supporting key infrastructure projects, including the rollout of full fibre connectivity, and working closely with a close-knit team. The salary is £35,000 to £38,000 depending on experience, and travel expenses are paid when you are required to visit other marina locations.
