UX Designer - Amazon Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer.
• We require an available online portfolio.
• We value experience acquiring user data, such as conducting usability studies and performing user research, as well as creating personas and journey maps.

• Preferred: experience and understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Preferred: experience designing developer-facing products, technical tools, or B2B applications.
• Preferred: technical background or familiarity with software development concepts and testing processes.
• Preferred: understanding of app submission, review, and certification workflows such as iOS App Store or Google Play.
• Preferred: experience with voice interfaces, conversational design, or IoT device ecosystems.
• Preferred: knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Preferred: experience with AI tools, including vibe coding, Figma plugins, and automation.

Responsibilities:

• We design user experiences for developer tools and workflows related to Alexa device app testing, submission, and certification processes.
• We create design solutions including interaction design, visual design, wireframes, and prototypes.
• We collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• We support user research activities with developers to understand pain points and workflows throughout the app development lifecycle.
• We design and iterate on developer consoles, dashboards, testing interfaces, and submission portals.
• We apply and contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across developer touchpoints.
• We present design concepts to team members and stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
• We work closely with engineering teams to ensure quality implementation of designs.
• We balance developer needs with business objectives and technical constraints.
• We develop AI automation tools such as Figma plugins with vibe coding.
