Technical Architect Contract Dublin

Requirements:

• Proven track record in solution architecture and design across multiple technologies
• Strong knowledge of products and services at both functional and data level
• Excellent technical skills in Oracle PL/SQL, Angular, Java, and Spring
• Good knowledge of emerging technologies and Big Data, including Hadoop
• Experience with data technologies and understanding of metadata and data lineage concepts
• Experience interfacing with third-party vendor platforms
• Exposure to cloud technologies

Responsibilities:

• Drive the architectural vision and architecture for our technology platform in line with our enterprise technology architecture and business strategy
• Contribute to the creation of the architecture roadmap
• Work across business and technology to create solution design and architecture, and evolve it based on an emerging backlog
• Provide technical thought leadership based on experience building multiple software solutions
• Contribute to the development of design and technology implementation best practices
• Identify better ways to solve technical problems and design solutions
• Ensure the architecture is flexible, modular, and easy to adapt
• Facilitate solution-driven discussions and lead the design process, finding creative solutions
• Clarify the architecture and assist with system design where needed for development teams
• Support implementation and resolve architectural impediments
