Systems Data Analyst

Salary: £59,280 - 70,560 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, or database-focused roles.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence analysing data across diverse platforms.
• Solid understanding of data structures, modelling techniques, and database architecture.
• Experience delivering data migration, transformation, or application replacement projects.
• Knowledge of Azure data services and cloud-based database technologies.
• Exposure to document-oriented databases such as Azure Cosmos DB would be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and interpret data ecosystems across multiple business-critical applications.
• Capture and maintain technical documentation to support future-state platform design.
• Define data migration requirements and establish mapping between legacy and target systems.
• Partner with delivery teams to identify data dependencies, risks, and integration requirements.
• Investigate legacy platforms to uncover undocumented functionality and data relationships.
• Contribute to data governance initiatives and promote best practice across projects.

We are offering an inside contract for a Systems Data Analyst to support a major technology transformation programme within a highly regulated professional services environment. This is a hybrid role based in London, with 40% or less onsite each week, on an initial 6-month contract at a rate of £350 to £420 per day.
