Software Support Specialist (WMS)

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience supporting incidents, problems and change requests within an IT environment
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions
• Experience maintaining support documentation, knowledge articles and change records
• An organised, detail-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• An understanding of IT controls, audit requirements or compliance processes
• A valid UK driving licence is preferable due to occasional travel requirements
• Experience of Warehouse Management Systems, distribution centre operations or supply chain technology would be highly advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for our Warehouse Management System platform
• Resolve incidents, service requests and operational queries
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis and drive resolutions with internal teams and third-party partners
• Support system changes, upgrades, testing and maintenance activities
• Work directly with operational stakeholders to gather requirements and improve system performance
• Monitor WMS and interface performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and automation
• Support IT audit, risk and compliance activities, ensuring documentation and evidence are maintained to a high standard
• Build strong relationships across Operations, IT and external suppliers to deliver excellent service

We are looking for a Software Support Specialist (WMS) to join our team and support the Warehouse Management System that powers our distribution network. The role is based at our Fulfilment Centre in Stafford, with most of the working week on-site and occasional travel to our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire, and other locations.
