Software Architect - ADAS

Salary: £45,000 - 64,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for expertise in AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive.
• We require strong embedded C/C++ skills.
• We need experience with Linux in automotive environments.
• We require knowledge of automotive Ethernet, CAN, and diagnostics.
• We are seeking experience in ADAS system architecture.
• We require understanding of functional safety standards, including ISO 26262.
• We require knowledge of cybersecurity standards, including ISO 21434.
• We need experience in root cause analysis and problem resolution management.
• We require strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the investigation, analysis, and resolution of complex ADAS software issues across vehicle, system, and software layers.
• We drive root cause analysis for safety-critical and performance-related concerns.
• We resolve complex program blockers and software defects.
• We analyze system-level issues across ADAS application software, AUTOSAR layers, Linux/QNX platforms, middleware, vehicle communication networks, and sensor integration.
• We lead supplier issue resolution workshops.
• We coordinate with OEM engineering teams, Tier-1 suppliers, system engineers, and software developers.
• We escalate and resolve SOP-critical software issues.
• We support customer-facing technical discussions and escalations.
• We review software designs and architecture impacts of reported issues.
• We define corrective architecture changes to address performance bottlenecks, functional defects, safety concerns, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and system integration issues.
• We ensure fixes align with our long-term platform architecture strategy.
• We ensure timely closure of program-critical defects and production escalations.
