Senior Technical Architect
Job Description
Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- We need experience in architecture design across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, including networking, security, presentation, middleware, database, and integration aspects.
- We need experience of architecture design informed by principles, patterns, technical radars, practices, and standards.
- We need experience working with project delivery teams in agile, waterfall, and hybrid environments throughout the lifecycle from concept to go-live.
- We need the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with traceability that can be demonstrated to stakeholders.
- We need experience using architecture modelling techniques and tools to devise and represent solutions.
- We need experience in microservice and API-led architecture, including integration design tools, techniques, and best practice.
- We need experience in event-based architecture design, including pub-sub and data streaming patterns, modelling techniques, tools, and standards.
- We lead the design of complex systems and services.
- We provide expert guidance and shape technical solutions.
- We ensure alignment with wider government strategy.
- We work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
- We develop architecture options.
- We govern technical quality.
