Senior Internal IT Auditor

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in IT Internal Audit within a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of technology risk, governance, and IT audit methodologies.
• Experience leading end-to-end IT audits and producing high-quality audit reports.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A collaborative, inquisitive approach with the confidence to challenge and influence.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CISM are desirable but not essential.
• Experience of IT controls, JSOX, or internal control frameworks would be advantageous.
• Financial services or insurance experience would be beneficial, although candidates from other regulated industries will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Lead IT audit engagements from planning through to reporting.
• Assess technology risks across technology and business functions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and deliver meaningful, risk-based assurance.
• Present clear, practical recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation.
• Engage with senior stakeholders throughout the audit process.
