Senior Delivery Consultant DevOps

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree, or experience in a professional field or military
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
• Experience in consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
• Experience in software development with an object-oriented language
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and operating systems
• Experience in external or internal customer-facing, complex, large-scale project management
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives
• Lead on-site technical engagements with partners and customers
• Understand customer security and compliance requirements and propose packaged and bespoke security solutions
• Develop and implement security models in AWS, including identity and access management, logging and monitoring, infrastructure security, data protection, and incident response
• Deliver projects on-site, including proving AWS services and security technology for cloud information security
• Help migrate existing applications and support the development of new applications using AWS cloud services
• Gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS
• Provide technical expertise, best practices, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with Sales, AWS Service Teams, engineering, support, and business teams
• Contribute customer and partner feedback to AWS technology roadmaps
• Capture, package, and share knowledge, tools, services, and artefacts to support future engagements
• Work backwards from desired customer outcomes to design and deliver technical solutions
• Assist customers with Proofs of Concept and implementation of AWS services
• Research, validate, and beta test new AWS services
• Present workshops one-to-one or to larger audiences
