Senior Data Science Engineer

Salary: £95,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience designing and delivering production-grade analytical Python solutions
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL-like operations
• Understanding of machine learning techniques such as regularised regression, clustering, or tree-based ensembles
• Experience applying machine learning with packages like Pandas, scikit-learn, and SciPy is highly beneficial
• Experience processing big data, ideally in a Hadoop/Spark environment, is beneficial
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Ability to improve deployment reliability, testing standards, and release processes

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and own standalone, reusable Python packages that surface novel data science solutions
• Create production-ready tools and modules that support best-in-class global products and services
• Build processes and tools to support research into global science methods, including visual dashboards
• Translate stakeholder requirements into robust, production-ready solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally
• Mentor junior team members to raise engineering capability and impact
