SAP Business ByDesign Consultant

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require proficiency in SAP Business ByDesign, including configuration, troubleshooting, and implementation, with a strong focus on Supply Chain.
• Project accounting process experience is advantageous.
• We require a strong consultancy background with the ability to advise clients strategically and support troubled projects effectively.
• We require excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction, workshops, and mentoring.
• We require strong problem-solving ability to analyse complex issues and deliver timely solutions.
• We require experience managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with diverse teams.
• We require the ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including solution designs and technical requirements.
• We require a strong client focus, responsiveness, and the ability to deliver effective training.
• We expect a willingness to stay current with industry trends, SAP developments, and relevant certifications or accreditations.

Responsibilities:

• We support client implementation projects by troubleshooting challenging scenarios and advising consultants, including leading distressed projects where needed.
• We support the SAP Business ByDesign presales team through pre-project workshops, effort estimate reviews, process and requirement advice, and statement of work reviews.
• We assist the SAP Business ByDesign support team by troubleshooting complex tickets, advising on resolutions, or taking ownership through to resolution.
• We work with SAP Business ByDesign Project Managers and Team Leads as needed.
• We train and mentor other team members to support their professional development.
• We assist with quality assurance of work produced by our SAP Business ByDesign practice team members.
• We advise customers at a strategic level using our industry knowledge.
• We analyse customer requirements and map them to the SAP Business ByDesign solution.
• We configure, unit test, implement, deliver, and maintain SAP Business ByDesign systems.
• We act as lead consultant on implementation projects within our areas of expertise in Supply Chain and project accounting processes.
• We author solution design documents and functional specification documents for SAP Business ByDesign SDK or SAP BTP developments.
• We sign off technical developments before customer UAT.
• We manage our own workload, request additional work when needed, and help ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• We respond to customer queries, research answers, and guide customers through corrective steps.
• We create analytical reports and data sources as necessary.
• We deliver training to customers as necessary.
• We write and maintain quality documentation for clients.
• We improve system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
