Platform Engineer

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Commercial Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering experience
• Hands-on AWS experience in a production environment
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
• Strong Linux knowledge, including troubleshooting and scripting
• Experience with Git and modern software delivery practices
• Exposure to containers, CI/CD, and automation tooling
• Clear communication and a willingness to support and share knowledge with others
• Willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance

Responsibilities:

• Join an agile engineering team building and improving secure, reliable cloud platforms for major UK public sector programmes
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform
• Support containerised services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Troubleshoot Linux-based production environments and improve reliability
• Own defined areas of delivery and contribute to technical decisions
• Share knowledge, onboard colleagues, and support less experienced engineers
