Lead Agentic Engineer (MedTech)

Salary: £65,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control and scalable design
• Experience building modern web applications and production software
• Experience working with LLMs, AI-powered applications or agentic workflows
• Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines and tool-using AI systems
• Experience integrating APIs, data sources and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen or similar is a bonus
• Background in healthcare, life sciences or regulated environments is a bonus
• Experience with AI safety, evaluation or model monitoring is a bonus
• Familiarity with distributed systems or event-driven architectures is a bonus

• Lead the development of AI-enabled applications
• Build scalable software solutions using React, TypeScript and Node.js
• Integrate LLMs, AI agents and automation capabilities into software products
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate ideas into production-ready solutions
• Help shape the future direction of agentic AI within our business
