IT Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 58,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an IT engineering role
• Ability to work with a broad and comprehensive range of concepts and principles within IT
• Broad experience of Windows Client/Server Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V) and Linux
• A first degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent on-the-job experience
• Willingness to learn and demonstrate the required level of experience

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of projects and provide IT solutions to our customers
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to support project delivery
• Lead the delivery of complex technical tasks as directed by the Technical Lead
• Deliver hardware and software builds, systems installation, and integration
• Technically lead small projects or parts of larger projects to deliver solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Produce technical presentations, documentation, test plans and reports, user guides, work instructions, and design or process documents
• Provide mentoring support to junior colleagues
• Undertake tasks of increasing complexity by deriving solutions using existing practices
