Head of IT Service Improvement

Salary: £90,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience delivering large-scale IT service improvement and transformation programmes
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITIL)
• Experience with infrastructure transformation
• Experience with cyber security initiatives
• Experience with disaster recovery planning or delivery
• Experience with supplier and vendor management
• Experience with IT operating model or service improvement initiatives
• Experience managing executive stakeholders
• Experience delivering in complex or regulated environments

Responsibilities:

• Lead a portfolio of strategic IT service improvement initiatives
• Strengthen operational resilience and improve service maturity
• Support long-term technology transformation
• Lead ITIL 4 and IT Service Management improvement initiatives
• Lead cyber security enhancement initiatives
• Lead IT disaster recovery and operational resilience initiatives
• Lead supplier rationalisation and MSP transition initiatives
• Lead service governance and continual improvement initiatives
• Support target operating model development
• Support infrastructure and technology modernisation
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to bring structure, pace, and hands-on delivery to complex change programmes
• Ensure improvements are embedded and deliver lasting value

We are supporting an organisation embarking on a significant technology transformation and are looking for an experienced Head of IT Service Improvement to join us on a two-year fixed-term contract. The role is based in London with hybrid working and flexible office attendance. We offer up to £95,000, a generous non-contributory pension, excellent holiday, and hybrid working. The role reports to the Director of Information Services and involves working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic change.
