Embedded Software Engineer – Medical Devices - Cambridge

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, with a strong track record of problem solving using C and other software languages.
• We prefer experience in healthcare embedded software or another highly complex domain that uses software, physics and mathematics problem solving.
• We need strong engineering fundamentals, ideally demonstrated through university studies or current professional experience.
• We require a degree in software, biomedical, engineering, physics, mathematics, or another subject relevant to Embedded C software engineering.
• We look for candidates who enjoy challenging physics or mathematical problem solving and can evidence this through their CV or interests.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you help develop brand new, highly complex medical devices.
• We will expect you to solve complex embedded software problems, often working independently as the only Embedded Software Engineer on a project.
• We will have you apply your software, physics and mathematics knowledge to technical problem solving.
• We will involve you in the development of some of the most complex technologies in our field.
