Job Description

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Highly analytical, with a methodical and structured approach and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to make complex technical issues understandable to all stakeholders
  • Experience in threat modelling using frameworks such as STRIDE, PASTA, or attack trees is desirable
  • Ability to remain calm and prioritise under pressure
  • Understanding of incident response methodology
  • Strong understanding of actor methodology, including tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Holding or working towards relevant cyber intelligence certifications such as SANS/GIAC (FOR578, FOR589) or CREST CPTIA/CRTIA
  • Demonstrable experience in threat intelligence gathering, analysis, and reporting
  • Experience using MITRE ATT&CK, Lockheed Martin Killchain, Diamond Model, or similar frameworks
  • Understanding of the aviation, transport, or critical infrastructure threat landscape is desirable
  • Experience tracking adversary infrastructure through open source or Netflow data is desirable
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the effort to identify and report cyber threats relevant to British Airways, covering both tactical and strategic requirements
  • Act as the technical lead for cyber threat identification across British Airways
  • Support the Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager in active threat management, ensuring timely, specific, and relevant cyber threat information is available to support decision making
  • Engage with IAG group peers, the wider aviation industry, and UK critical infrastructure and government bodies such as the NCSC
  • Manage and deliver threat intelligence requirements and the end-to-end intelligence lifecycle
  • Work collaboratively with British Airways and IAG stakeholders to undertake cyber threat assessments and support cyber control decision making
  • Leverage available and open-source feeds and tools to track the cyber threats we face and produce finished intelligence products for stakeholders across the organisation
  • Support the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Cyber Incident Managers during cyber incident response activities
  • Support the implementation of the broader BA/IAG Cyber Strategy
