Azure Cloud Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

• Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud and server infrastructure.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server technologies.

• Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Experience with cloud financial management and optimisation.
• Knowledge of infrastructure performance monitoring and capacity management.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container technologies.
• Experience working within large, complex organisations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for cloud and server platforms.
• Lead the technical delivery of infrastructure enhancements, upgrades, and modernisation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while identifying opportunities to prevent recurrence.
• Manage and improve Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server environments.
• Identify ways to improve platform performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support automation and streamlining of operational processes.
• Produce clear technical documentation and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of strategic technology programmes.
