Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst.
• Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and definition.
• Experience working across both business and technical domains.
• Strong understanding of dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities within complex programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders.
• Experience producing detailed BA documentation and artefacts.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear business requirements.
• Experience within large-scale transformation, enterprise technology or public-sector programmes is highly beneficial.
• Active MOD SC clearance is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the elicitation, analysis and documentation of requirements across complex business and technical areas.
• Identify and assess dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities across multiple programmes and delivery areas.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and align them with strategic objectives.
• Produce high-quality Business Analysis artefacts, including requirements, process models and impact assessments.
• Act as a key link between technical Platform teams and programme stakeholders.
• Support programme planning, governance and key decision-making.
• Provide senior-level Business Analysis expertise across a complex technology environment.

We are recruiting for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a major public-sector technology programme. This is a senior role based in London or Bristol on a hybrid basis, with approximately one day per week onsite. The position is inside IR35 at a rate of £640 per day. We are looking for someone who can work confidently across business and technical environments, help shape solutions with senior stakeholders, and support programme delivery across a complex platform landscape.
