Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £45,500 - 73,500 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in endpoint management, including Jamf Pro and Intune.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, including VMs, networking, and IAM.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure environments such as bastion access and VDI.
• Experience with systems integration across SaaS platforms such as Slack, Teams, and Atlassian.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Understanding of patching, OS upgrades, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Effective cross-team collaboration with DevOps, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams.
• Experience leading infrastructure projects with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adapting to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage virtual Apple or Windows estates across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Design, build, and support automation solutions.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure.
• Build secure environments, including bastion access and VDI redesign.
• Lead systems integration efforts across SaaS platforms.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of key infrastructure components and lead technology estate management.
• Drive cloud architecture initiatives.
• Collaborate across IT and with other engineering and management teams.
• Provide major incident management and technical support for corporate and product platforms.
• Support the delivery of strategic technology initiatives, programs, and large projects.
