Sr. Software Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 4+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• We require proficiency in Golang.
• We value experience using AI-augmented development workflows such as Claude, Codex, or Copilot.
• We are looking for experience designing and developing resilient REST APIs and cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
• We are looking for a strong understanding of microservice architecture and backend design principles.
• We need solid knowledge of Postgres and Redis, and ideally DynamoDB.
• Nice to have: familiarity with asynchronous or event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, or webhooks.
• Nice to have: exposure to DevOps workflows and tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Nice to have: experience working with data exports, reporting systems, or data streaming.
• Nice to have: experience improving developer experience around APIs, such as OpenAPI, Swagger, or static site generators.
• Nice to have: familiarity with authentication, API gateways, and rate limiting strategies.
• Nice to have: experience in compliance standards for APIs and data handling.
• Nice to have: experience with observability tools and practices.

Responsibilities:

• We own the design, development, and optimization of API, export, and MCP features.
• We collaborate closely with product managers and senior engineers to define functionality and architect systems that handle high-throughput data pipelines.
• We build robust export pipelines, streaming architectures, webhook integrations, and MCP servers.
• We maintain high observability and reliability standards using tools like Coralogix, CloudWatch, and Grafana.
• We participate in on-call rotation and incident response for the services we own.
