Principal Consultant - Oracle EBS Core HR / Payroll Techno Functional - UK

Salary: £24,000 - 59,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 15+ years of experience in Oracle EBS HCM implementation and support for Core HR and Payroll modules in the UK.
• We need deep understanding of HR business processes, particularly in the UK public sector.
• We need strong proficiency across Core HR and UK Payroll, with practical knowledge of UK Pension and UK Absence processes.
• We require experience with Oracle SOA Suite, Integration Cloud (OIC), and API development.
• We need hands-on knowledge of HCM technical tools including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae, Custom Forms, Performance Tuning, Oracle PL/SQL, and OAF.
• We need the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to technical, business, and management audiences.
• We require knowledge of existing solution support, status reporting with RAG, risk and mitigation tracking, and RAID log maintenance.
• Preferred: we value strong release planning and delivery planning skills.

Responsibilities:

• We lead, support, and orchestrate process improvement ideas in Oracle EBS HCM, focusing on Core HR and Payroll for UK clients.
• We demonstrate expert proficiency in Core HR, UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
• We apply hands-on experience in Oracle Global Payroll/Absence, particularly within the UK public sector.
• We lead the transition of ongoing systems.
• We ensure integration via the integration layer remains robust during upgrades and third-party changes.
• We manage security architecture activities including user access reviews, single sign-on reviews, and masking in non-production environments.
• We use HCM technical tools to support configuration, reporting, formulas, forms, and performance tuning.
• We lead customer discussions on integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Core HR, Payroll, and related modules.
• We guide development teams on customization, integration, and data migration using OAF, PL/SQL, API, SOA Suite, HDL, and Web ADI.
• We ensure system design complies with GDPR, SOX, and internal security policies.
• We understand integration touch points and reporting requirements across the landscape.
• We prepare status reports with RAG, highlight risks and mitigations, and maintain the RAID log.
