AI Automation Engineer

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience building AI agents, automated workflows, or production-grade AI systems
• Strong Python development experience for services and automation pipelines
• Experience integrating systems through APIs and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with Copilot Studio, Azure AI / Foundry, and internal enterprise systems
• Experience building reusable engineering components such as connectors, tools, or agent capabilities
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and versioning practices
• Ability to design scalable, observable, and maintainable solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience participating in technical design discussions and code reviews
• Ability to collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions

Responsibilities:

• Design and build AI agents and multi-step workflows for internal tax use cases
• Develop Python-based services and automation pipelines for production use
• Integrate AI systems with internal platforms using APIs and event-driven architectures
• Implement workflows across Copilot Studio, Azure AI / Foundry, and internal systems
• Build and extend reusable components such as connectors, tools, and agent capabilities
• Support implementation of CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployment and versioning
• Ensure solutions are scalable, observable, and maintainable in enterprise environments
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices defined by senior engineers
• Participate in technical design and code reviews
• Collaborate with internal tax technologists to translate defined requirements into technical solutions
