Debugger Software Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- We require a good understanding and practical experience of Java and/or C++ programming.
- We require strong abstract reasoning skills and the ability to focus on key concepts at all levels of detail.
- We require a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- We require experience with scripting in Python and using the Linux command line.
- We value a high level of pro-activity and initiative.
- Nice to have: experience with embedded software development.
- Nice to have: experience using embedded debug tools such as Arm Development Studio or Keil MDK and associated JTAG or SWD debug probes.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Visual Studio Code.
- Nice to have: experience with build automation tools such as Maven.
- Nice to have: test development using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins or Robot.
- We work in an Agile team on the development of our Java and C++ based tools.
- We collaborate with engineers and technology managers to clarify requirements, design solutions, develop features, and deploy new functionality.
- We implement new features for our suite of debug tools, including Arm Debugger within Development Studio.
- We develop firmware for our DSTREAM family of high-performance debug and trace probes.
- We contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
