Job Description

Salary: £61,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • 3+ years of experience in data science with a focus on building data and AI products
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization
  • Full-stack development experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP
  • Strong expertise in building Gen-AI native products and services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets and technical findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting sophisticated analytical findings to senior leadership and technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of telecommunications technology, including network infrastructure, cloud platforms, software architecture, and emerging technologies, is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics tools, including cloud-based data science environments, big data technologies, and Gen-AI/ML platforms, is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced data science, machine learning, AI/Gen-AI, and predictive analytics to support technology decisions
  • Support due diligence, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic roadmap development through sophisticated modelling, performance analysis, and forecasting
  • Create technology strategy data and AI frameworks and build advanced analytical models to support decision-making across our business
  • Build Gen-AI native products and services across the group
  • Develop data aggregation, correlation, and visualization capabilities for technology performance metrics, market trends, and competitive intelligence
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze technology adoption patterns, performance benchmarks, and strategic opportunities
  • Define and monitor KPIs for technology strategy initiatives, innovation programs, and strategic investments
  • Create comprehensive benchmarking capabilities comparing our technology performance against industry leaders
  • Collaborate with Technology and AI teams to develop proof of concepts using emerging AI and ML technologies
  • Drive innovation in technology strategy analytics, including NLP for trend analysis, automated competitive intelligence, and predictive forecasting
  • Develop AI-powered capabilities for technology due diligence automation, market intelligence gathering, and strategic opportunity identification
