Software Engineer Identity & Access Management

Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and clean coding principles.
• We can break complex logic problems into small, solvable pieces.
• We understand the challenges of building and operating reliable, high-throughput services.
• We have a good foundation in backend development and server-side systems.
• We are willing to work with and learn C#/.NET Core, Cassandra, gRPC, and Kubernetes.
• We are interested in B2B SaaS identity, including authentication, authorization, security, and auditing.
• We take ownership and responsibility for what we ship.
• We write tests, monitor our code in production, and follow through when issues arise.
• We are proactive about flagging issues and asking for help when needed.
• We leverage AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude to accelerate our work.

Responsibilities:

• We own the implementation of end-to-end features and ensure our code solves real user problems.
• We write production-ready, well-tested code that works reliably in production.
• We collaborate closely with teammates across Identity and adjacent teams.
• We participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and shared standards.
• We use modern AI-assisted tooling to reduce boilerplate, refactoring, and repetitive work.
• We participate in incident response and learn from postmortems.
• We help continuously improve code quality and operational health.
• We build features across the stack for internal engineering teams and external developers.
• We contribute to secure identity and access management systems, including organisation, group, account, consent, session management, SSO federation, SCIM provisioning, and the OIDC provider.
