Senior Frontend Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial React experience
• Strong commercial TypeScript experience
• Previous startup or scale-up experience
• Several years of professional frontend/software engineering experience at Senior Engineer level
• Experience building and maintaining production frontend applications
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, maintainability, and testing
• A pragmatic, product-focused approach to engineering
• Comfort taking ownership rather than waiting for detailed specifications
• Ability to work effectively within a small, fast-moving engineering team
• Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities in a growing startup
• Right to work in the UK required; we are unable to provide visa sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Take a key role in the continued development of our core product
• Report directly to our CPTO and work closely with engineering, product, and the wider business
• Build intuitive, reliable, and scalable technology used by finance teams
• Contribute hands-on within a small engineering team
• Own significant areas of the product and codebase
• Contribute to technical and product decisions
• Balance speed and quality by testing product ideas quickly and turning successful ideas into scalable, dependable, well-tested features
