Requirements:

• We require active SC clearance with a minimum of 6 months remaining.
• We require a sole UK National.
• We require that the candidate has not been বাইরে the UK for more than 28 consecutive days in the last 5 years.
• We require in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 7 build, configuration, and registry settings.
• We require proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with VMware Workspace ONE and CyberArk is required.
• SCCM experience, including OS deployment, application deployment, fault finding, monitoring, and reporting, is desired.
• We need knowledge of LAN, WAN, vLAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, WINS, PXE, and VPN/remote connectivity.
• Knowledge of scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VBScript, and batch files is beneficial.
• Knowledge of disk encryption using BitLocker, NTFS permissions, and shared folder security is required.
• An appreciation of Microsoft Exchange, email client configuration, MS Outlook, instant messaging tools, and general etiquette is required.
• Working knowledge of IT Service Management software, specifically ServiceNow, is required.
• Exceptional customer handling skills are required.

Responsibilities:

• We are responsible for completing assigned work within allocated timeframes.
• We support Project Managers with project tasks.
• We provide technical guidance and an overview for the build and deployment of new or replacement tablets.
• We maintain and update VMware Workspace ONE device policies according to business needs.
• We carry out version updates to VMware Workspace ONE.
• We work with computer peripherals including printers, MFDs, display screens, docking stations, port replicators, cameras, and scanners.

We are seeking a VMware Engineer to work on-site in Barrow in Furness five days a week on a 3-month contract with potential for extension. The role is PAYE through an umbrella company, and the rate is £480 to £530. We are focused on delivering technical support across VMware Workspace ONE, CyberArk, device builds, and deployment activities within a secure environment.
