Test Engineer

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience in electronics and the ability to read and create wiring diagrams, follow test procedures, and document findings.
• We require proficiency in using various electronic test equipment.
• We require excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• We require an HND, HNC, or degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
• We require strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We require proficiency in process simulation and analysis software.
• We would prefer a BSc or MSc in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• We would prefer previous experience testing devices at board level.
• We would prefer experience with automation, SMT, and robotics in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• We perform RF testing using advanced test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers, and signal generators.
• We troubleshoot RF systems and components, identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with design engineers.
• We maintain test equipment to ensure it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
• We ensure RF products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• We document test procedures, results, and any issues encountered during testing.
• We stay updated on the latest advancements in RF technology and testing methodologies to improve our processes continuously.
