Technical Lead

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience developing software with Java, JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience building modern web applications using React, Next.js and cloud-native architectures
• Good understanding of AWS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and modern engineering practices
• Experience designing secure, scalable and resilient enterprise software solutions
• Previous experience leading technical decisions, mentoring developers and influencing engineering best practice
• Confidence to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable cloud-native software solutions
• Influence architecture, engineering standards and technical decision-making
• Mentor developers and support their technical and professional development
• Champion code quality, security, testing, resilience and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product and QA to deliver complex software solutions
• Help shape the future direction of the engineering function as the business evolves
