Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve our Microsoft Fabric-based Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform (EDAP)
• Develop, support, and enhance EDAP on Microsoft Fabric
• Design and build scalable data pipelines and integrations
• Set engineering standards and best practices
• Mentor and upskill our BI team in Fabric, Python, and Spark
• Work with stakeholders to deliver robust, business-focused data solutions

We are hiring a hands-on Data Platform Engineer for a 12-month contract role inside IR35, offering a day rate of £480 to £520. We are looking for someone who can lead platform engineering initiatives, own and evolve our Microsoft Fabric-based Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform, and coach our BI Developers to strengthen our data engineering capability. This is not a Power BI reporting role; we need a strong data engineering leader with proven Fabric and Python expertise who can both deliver technically and elevate team capability.
