Lead Full Stack Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 125,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant commercial experience developing modern .NET applications
• Strong front-end experience with Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservices
• A passion for writing clean, maintainable, high-quality code
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Architecture
• Previous experience leading or mentoring software engineers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Someone who enjoys being hands-on while helping others grow
• A collaborative leader who wants to influence technology, architecture, and engineering culture

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three Full Stack Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture
• Remain hands-on across both backend and frontend development, contributing to the design and delivery of new features
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET
• Build modern, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Drive frontend best practices, ensuring applications are performant, accessible, and maintainable
• Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Champion Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and modern software engineering practices across the team
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentoring, and support engineers with architectural and coding challenges
• Work closely with senior leadership to influence technical strategy, product direction, and engineering standards
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, security, and reliability across the full technology stack
• Help shape the engineering roadmap while contributing to the companys continued growth and technical maturity
