Cyber Security Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5 years experience working in a SOC environment, including threat detection, incident response, and continuous service improvement.
• We require hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and vulnerability management tools.
• We require strong experience working with AI tools such as Claude, Co-Pilot, and ChatGPT.
• We require excellent experience with Azure technologies.
• Experience in the legal sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• We will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of security controls across our IT infrastructure.
• We will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• We will conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• We will develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans in line with regulatory requirements.
• We will act as the go-to expert on cyber security matters, advising stakeholders and senior leadership on risk and best practice.
• We will manage relationships with third-party security vendors and partners.
• We will drive a culture of security awareness across the business through training and communication.
• We will stay ahead of emerging threats and evolving compliance requirements within the legal sector.
