Virtual Engineering Ops

Salary: £130,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• Core technical expertise in engineering within the technology sector
• Experience with Citrix, VMware (vSphere, ESXi), and Terraform
• Proficiency in Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Packer and Jenkins
• Knowledge of Windows Server and desktop management, along with Group Policy management
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Understanding of security and compliance standards
• Skills in scripting and automation, including the use of GitLab or GitHub
• Platform design and engineering competencies
• Experience in monitoring and performance optimisation
• Project management capabilities

Responsibilities:

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation strategies to streamline operations
• Manage enterprise desktop and server environments to ensure optimal performance
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for various processes
• Ensure the security and compliance of systems and data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and engineer scalable platforms
• Optimise system performance and monitor infrastructure health
• Perform virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) deployments
• Manage and execute project deliverables efficiently
