Data Engineer Python - FinTech
Job Description
Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for a highly technical Data Engineer with experience in FinTech or finance
- We need strong commercial data engineering experience, including building scalable data pipelines
- We require strong Python coding ability; TypeScript experience is preferred, or willingness to learn it
- We need a good understanding of APIs
- We want experience using LLMs to create business value
- We require experience working in cloud environments, with Azure preferred
- We are looking for a collaborative person with advanced communication skills
- We require a BSc degree in a STEM discipline from a Russell Group university
- We build scalable data pipelines to support our private equities and alternative investment management platform
- We improve, create and maintain data ingest pipelines for receiving data from fund administrators
- We work primarily with Python, TypeScript and APIs in an Azure cloud environment
- We collaborate with the wider engineering team to promote good data and strong data architecture
- We stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices

You will join our London office three days a week, with flexibility to work from home two days a week.
