Solutions Architect

Salary: £40,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Solutions Architect or Senior Technical role within a complex environment
• Broad technical background across applications, systems, and infrastructure
• Experience working with cloud-based and on-premise solutions within hybrid environments
• Strong understanding of system integration approaches and architectural patterns
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience operating within structured delivery and governance frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with a track record of delivering value

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end solutions that align with our business needs and long-term technology strategy
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable, supportable architectures
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions
• Provide technical guidance across projects, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practice
• Assess our current systems and identify opportunities for optimisation, integration, or modernisation
• Ensure our solutions meet security, governance, and compliance requirements
• Produce and maintain clear architectural documentation
• Support continuous improvement of our design standards, tooling, and delivery processes
