IT Support Technician

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous Helpdesk/IT Support (telephone/remote support) experience
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills with a strong customer service focus
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and knowledge of Server Operating Systems
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration and Troubleshooting
• Fully conversant with PC hardware set-up, configuration and troubleshooting
• A hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport is essential for this role
• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
• Technical support/Helpdesk: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities:

• Provide helpdesk support to clients, assisting them with hardware and software problems via Internet, phone, and email
• Work collaboratively within the IT Helpdesk Team
• Maintain a supportive environment focused on knowledge sharing and quality customer service
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, techniques, initiatives, and industry changes
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and career progression
