3rd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with ideally 5 years of support experience in an MSP environment.
• We need strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows Server skills.
• We need a good understanding of networking technologies, including switches such as HP Aruba and Meraki, wireless such as Ruckus and Ubiquiti, and firewalls such as WatchGuard.
• We need excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
• We need excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• You must be able to obtain enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We need you to manage tickets in line with SLAs and keep customers well informed throughout.
• We need you to take ownership of escalated tickets through to resolution.
• We need you to support and mentor our 1st and 2nd line team so they can confidently handle more complex technical issues.
• We need you to monitor and maintain client infrastructure and systems, responding proactively to alerts.
• We need you to resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
• We need you to act as the technical go-to person for escalations and see issues through to completion.

We are working exclusively with a great MSP to recruit a 3rd line support engineer for an office-based role in the Amersham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, takes pride in ownership of issues, and wants to help drive technical excellence. The role is Monday to Friday on days and offers a salary of £40-45k DOE. We are looking for someone who enjoys being the technical go-to person, resolving client problems in a timely and professional manner, and sharing knowledge with others.
