WordPress Developer

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong senior-level WordPress experience.
• PHP and MySQL.
• CSS and general front-end development experience.
• Experience with WordPress plugins and integrations.
• Comfortable integrating APIs into WordPress.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-sufficient, collaborative, and passionate, with the ability to build strong relationships across different teams.

Responsibilities:

• Take technical ownership of multiple WordPress websites.
• Develop, maintain, and improve the websites.
• Work closely with marketing to deliver website changes and new functionality.
• Manage WordPress plugins and integrations.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Work with internal engineering teams on more complex integrations.
• Help bring more website development in-house.

We are a growing residential business based in Alderley Edge offering a hybrid working model with Tuesday to Thursday as core office days. This is an opportunity to take technical ownership of a portfolio of websites, work closely with marketing and internal engineering teams, and help shape and grow our web function over time. The role offers a salary of £50,000-£60,000, flexible start and finish times, a discretionary bonus, increasing holiday allowance with service, Christmas shutdown outside annual leave, free breakfast and lunch, and free on-site parking.
