Website Developer

Salary: £21,000 - 38,500 per year

Requirements:

• We need someone with website development knowledge and experience, either from work or as a hobby.
• We welcome both junior candidates with some WordPress experience and senior candidates with years of experience.
• We need experience using WordPress to build and maintain websites.
• We value familiarity with both front-end and back-end website and e-commerce development.
• We are looking for someone comfortable working with WordPress, WooCommerce, APIs, PHP, JavaScript, and Git.
• We want someone who is not afraid to speak up, challenge the norm, and suggest better ways of doing things.
• We prefer someone who works well in a small company where their input can make a big difference.
• We are looking for a sociable, outgoing person with strong communication skills.
• You must be happy to commute to our Coventry office twice per week.
• You must have the right to work in the UK indefinitely, as we do not provide sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• We want you to take ownership of one website and another that is soon to be launched.
• You will build, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end website functionality.
• You will use WordPress, WooCommerce, APIs, PHP, and JavaScript in your day-to-day work.
• You will investigate bugs thoroughly and fix them actively.
• You will use Git to track and record changes.
• You will improve the SEO and functionality of our site.
• You will help develop and launch our second brand website.
• You will work Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
