Vendor Licence Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements:- 2–3 years of commercial experience, ideally
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Excellent Power BI, Excel, and SQL skills
- Python experience is advantageous
- Strong data analysis and reporting experience
- Technology industry experience is beneficial
- FinOps or licensing experience is not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive and commercially curious
- Confident in challenging assumptions and presenting findings
- AI tooling experience is advantageous
- Analyse vendor licensing consumption
- Review licensing purchases and customer usage
- Monitor vendor commitments and renewal exposure
- Assess licensing efficiency and commercial performance
- Identify unused capacity and over-purchasing
- Identify undercharging and overcommitment
- Produce licensing and commercial reporting
- Build dashboards using Power BI and Excel
- Analyse datasets using SQL and Python
- Report on forecasting and gross profit impact
- Present findings and challenge assumptions
- Improve commercial data accuracy and visibility
- Support the development of Revenue Operations

This is a newly created fully remote UK role, with quarterly face-to-face meetings, offering a salary of £40,000 to £50,000.
